A CyberLeads alternative built for the UK.
CyberLeads is a good product and cheaper than this one. It is also built from funding announcements and weighted to the United States. If your desk is British, most of the companies worth calling never make an announcement at all.
The honest summary
Different country, different source.
Where CyberLeads is better
- $49 a month against £299
- Global coverage, strongest in the United States
- A CEO email address on every record
- Twenty-odd datapoints per company, including tech stack
- A $3,000 lifetime option if you hate subscriptions
- A done-for-you tier that warms the leads and books the meetings
If you sell to American startups, buy CyberLeads. This is not close.
Where Priorfile is better
- Reads the UK share filing, not the press release
- Sees the raises nobody reports: 45 of 60 in the week we tested
- Director names from the statutory register, current by law
- Every row says whether it was announced, and when
- Cut to your sector, so Monday is four minutes
- Every figure links to the filed document
If your desk is UK, most of what you need was never announced.
Side by side
The comparison that matters.
| CyberLeads | Priorfile | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $49 / month, or $3,000 lifetime | £299 / month |
| Source | Funding announcements, collected by hand | SH01 share filings at Companies House |
| Sees unannounced raises | No, structurally | Yes, that is the product |
| Geography | Global, US-weighted | United Kingdom only |
| Contacts | CEO email address | Director and PSC names, no email |
| Announcement check | Not applicable, everything is announced | On every row, with the date |
| Sector cut | Filter it yourself | One edition per sector, sent to you |
| Free tier | One funded startup a week | One unannounced company a week |
| Done-for-you | $2,997 / month, they book meetings | None, and none planned |
The difference is not quality, it is which companies exist in each list at all. CyberLeads is built from announcements, so a UK company that raised £400,000 and told nobody cannot appear in it. That company is roughly three quarters of what a UK desk could be calling.
Questions
Asked plainly.
Is Priorfile a CyberLeads alternative?
Only if your market is the UK. CyberLeads covers announced funding globally with a CEO email on each record, for $49 a month. Priorfile covers UK share allotment filings, including the roughly three in four that are never announced, with director names rather than emails, for £299. Different countries, different source, different job.
Why is Priorfile more expensive?
Because it does the filtering a desk would otherwise do: one sector per edition, listed companies and shells removed, directors named, and a search run against press and company channels so every row says whether the money was ever announced. CyberLeads gives you a bigger list and leaves the sorting to you, which is a fair trade at the price.
Does CyberLeads cover the UK?
It covers UK companies where a funding announcement exists to collect. It cannot cover the ones that never announced, because there is nothing to collect. That is a limit of the method, not of the company.
Can I use both?
Yes, and some will. CyberLeads for announced companies and contact emails, Priorfile for the UK raises that never reach the press. They do not overlap much, which is rather the point.
