Who we are

Priorfile is operated by Sam Thorpe, United Kingdom. For any question about this notice, email sam@priorfile.com.

What we collect

• Your email address and name, when you subscribe. Used to send the register and to contact you about your subscription.
• Billing details, handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers are never seen or stored by Priorfile.
• Whether you opened an edition. Used to tell whether the register is being read, and to stop sending to people who have stopped opening it.
• Basic analytics — pages viewed, referrer, country. No cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels, no profiling.

What we do not collect

No cookies are set for advertising. We do not sell, rent or share subscriber data with anyone. There is no third-party ad network on this site.

Company information in the register

The register contains information about companies, drawn from public Companies House records under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Where a filing names a director, that name is already on the public register. If you believe personal data has been published inappropriately, email and it will be reviewed promptly.

Lawful basis

Contract, for delivering the subscription you have paid for. Legitimate interests, for basic analytics and for measuring whether the register is opened. Consent, where required.

How long we keep it

Subscriber records are kept while the subscription is live and for six years afterwards, as UK tax law requires for financial records. Analytics data is kept for 24 months.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email and it will be actioned within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
