Who just took the money, and never said so.

Every Monday: the UK companies in your sector that filed a share allotment last week and that no news site has reported. Director names on every row, the filing behind every number, and a check that says whether anyone announced it. £299 a month, no demo.

The problem

By the time a raise is news, it is everyone’s news.

When a funding round is announced, every agency in the sector reads it the same morning and rings the same week. Whoever gets through first gets the brief. That is a race, not a method.

Most raises are never announced at all. In the week we checked, 45 of 60 companies that filed a share allotment had no press release, no news story, no post. Nobody is ringing them, because nobody knows.

The shift

You already know how to find a person before anyone else does.

This is the same discipline pointed at companies. Find the one that just got the budget and told nobody. Call the director by name.

How it works

Four steps, none of them clever.

01

A company issues shares.

It must file an SH01 at Companies House within one month. The form states the shares allotted and the amount paid for them. Around 750 arrive every working day.

02

Priorfile reads the filing.

Every one. The amount is the two figures multiplied, no estimate involved. Option exercises, bonus issues, holding companies, VCTs and listed companies are removed.

03

Each row is checked and named.

The public record gives the directors and controlling persons. A search of press and company channels says whether anyone announced the money, and when.

04

Your sector arrives Monday.

One email. Company, amount filed, sector, age, directors, announcement check, and a link so any line can be verified in two clicks.

Week to 28 August 2026.

Six of the 100. Every row links back to the filing it came from, and the last column is the result of searching for any public announcement. Check any of them before you pay a penny.

Why it cannot go stale

A filing from last Tuesday is still a filing from last Tuesday in a year.

B2B contact data decays at roughly 22.5% a year, and the commonest complaint about every provider is the same: bounced email, wrong numbers, the job title from two roles ago.

Priorfile does not sell email addresses. It gives you the director’s name from the public register, which is current by law, and the dated filing that says the money arrived.

Where this sits

Same filings. Three very different products.

Nobody owns this data. It is a public record and anyone may read it. What differs is who the reading is done for. Funding Spotter is a database for people watching the market. Beauhurst is a research platform for institutions. Priorfile is a call sheet for a desk.
